One city that holds an unrivaled place in my heart is Lisbon. Ever since I can remember, I have known of my maternal grandfather's Portuguese heritage. It filled me with a unique sense of awe and pride to see the family name plastered on local monuments and street signs throughout this enchanting city. The simple knowledge that my ancestors walked those same streets fascinated me. Every corner and every aspect of this place exuded a captivating and extraordinary atmosphere that I can only describe as truly magical.
